Do you like having people stay over? While it might seem like a foreign concept right now, it will happen again in the future. One great convenience for houseguests is to have a guest bathroom. But in some homes, the guest bathroom might go forgotten in-between visits. This could lead to several issues, and the next time you have someone over, they might not be so happy about that bathroom after all.
One serious issue is when you have smells that won’t go away. This could be because of a p-trap that has run dry, or because of garbage left behind for too long. To make sure the p-trap stays topped off, run the sink, the shower, and flush the toilet every now and then to add water.
Making sure that the essentials are stocked and that there isn’t a thick layer of dust on everything in the house can make the visit more pleasant for a guest as well.
