With many people throughout the area still staying at home, they’ve found themselves with a lot of “free time” on their hands. Besides binge-watching, eating, and sleeping, what can you do to stay productive during your time at home? Here are a few ideas:
- Perform your own home inspection. You may be able to identify some critical issues in your home, like rust, water damage, or mold. While there are obvious benefits to having a professional inspection performed on your home, doing your own initial inspection can give you a better idea of what a professional may need to look for.
- Clean out the garage! Now is a great time to get a head start on some spring cleaning projects. Whatever you do, though, be sure to do it safely.
- Make your home more energy efficient! Take the time to work on making your home more energy efficient by changing to newer light bulbs, sealing around doors and windows, and even adding more insulation to your attic and around your rim joist in your basement/craw.lspace
